Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
- Dixie Does Vintage was established in 2015. With nine years of experience under our belt, we’ve honed our expertise in understanding precisely what works, and you can have confidence when booking us that we will be here for you when your charitable event, party, wedding, shower, tea party or or any special occasion comes around.
- Prices? Prices are listed for all rental inventory online. Click on picture for price info. We adjust for quantities when an invoice is sent. We are happy to make quantity recommendations.
- Can I make an appointment to view your inventory? All inventory is online.
- Do you refund my money after I have paid and scheduled an item for rental? Dixie Does Vintage does not issue refunds for any reason. We will attempt to reschedule your rentals if we have those items available on the new date.
- Holds? We do not hold any rentals without payment.
- What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, money orders, checks, credit cards, Zelle and Venmo. Our preferred method of payment is Zelle. Credit card payments incur a processing fee.
- Do you require a Security Deposit? Yes, we do require a Security Deposit in the form of a current signed credit card authorization form which is put file.
- Is there a deposit to reserve? Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer to reserve our rentals for your event. Orders under $375 require full payment.
- Delivery? Delivery is available for an additional charge. We encourage you to pick up and return for our rentals. Will call pick up can be made a few days before your event and return by 4pm the day after.
- Location? Dixie Does Vintage has a warehouse in east Dallas (75223) Pick ups and Returns are by appointment only.
- How long is the rental period? Rentals are for one day or per event. You may pick-up your rentals a few days before your event. Returns are scheduled the day after the event or on Monday by 4pm or another day’s rental will be charged.
- What happens when I break something or damage it? If an item is lost , broken, or damaged, PLEASE text or email us. Lost, damaged, chipped items will charged at the replacement value which is listed on your invoice plus shipping costs.
- How do I reserve rentals? Email a list of items and guest count to dixiedoesvintage@gmail.com. We will send an estimate or contact you. After determining if you want to rent or not we email an invoice/contract.
- Can I change my order? You are welcome to add to your order if there is availability at anytime up to 7 days before your event.
